How to Reset the Tire Pressure Light on a Chevrolet Traverse

In this video, you can see how to reset the tire light on a Chevrolet Traverse: you can try without a scanner, but this method doesn't always work. Turn on the ignition, press and hold the "lock" and "unlock" buttons for 5 to 10 seconds until you hear a beep and "tire learning active" appears on the dashboard. Go outside and deflate each tire, starting with the front left tire, until you hear a beep from the horn (indicating that the sensor is detected): repeat this for the front right, rear right, and rear left tires. When finished, the horn will beep twice and the TPMS light will turn off. The method with the scanner is recommended. Access the "tire learn" mode by pressing the "lock + unlock" buttons, connect the TPMS scanner to the OBDII port, and select: make Chevrolet; model Traverse; year: that of your vehicle. Then follow the scanner instructions, bringing it close to each valve, always starting with the front left, and following the previously illustrated order. Afterward, you will need to drive for about 12 miles to recalibrate the new data.
