How to Reset the Service Light on a Chevrolet Cruze

To reset the service light on the Chevrolet Cruze, get in the vehicle and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Use the button or dial on the steering column to scroll through the menu until you reach the engine oil life option. Once the oil percentage is displayed, press and hold the confirmation button for a few seconds until the value resets to 100%. When the reset is complete, release the button and turn off the ignition. Turn the ignition back on to check that the maintenance light has been cleared and that the new interval has been recorded correctly.
