Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

Model: Chevrolet Cruze - Years 2000-2010

Once you have raised the vehicle on the lift, unscrew the drain plug of the oil sump to allow the old oil to drain out, which should be collected in a suitable container and disposed of properly. Then access the engine bay and unscrew the cap of the oil filter container located beside the battery, behind the engine management unit; remove the old cartridge and fit the new one, replacing the o-ring seals that are always included in the filter kit. Then tighten the filter cap and fill the engine with new oil (SAE 5W30) until reaching the maximum level.
