How to Remove the Front Brake Disc of a Chevrolet Aveo

Model: Chevrolet Aveo MK 1, T200 - Years 2002-2011

To remove the front brake disc of a Chevrolet Aveo, position the car on a column lift and raise it to a comfortable height. Unscrew the bolts with a socket wrench or air drill and remove the wheel. Next, begin unscrewing the bolts of the brake caliper to detach it from the bracket. Use a screwdriver to detach the brake pads. Now remove the caliper bracket and unscrew the bolts on the brake disc (using a Torx screwdriver). Pull the disc towards you to slide it off the hub. Install the new brake disc with all the associated bolts, secure the caliper bracket to the disc and the brake pads. Reassemble all the parts removed earlier.
