How to Remove the Rear Bumper from the Chevrolet Corvette

To remove the rear bumper from the Chevrolet Corvette C5, first remove the rear lights by taking off the outer lamps. Next, remove the number plate and light support; unscrew the screws behind the number plate and disconnect the wiring for the third brake light. Remove the lower clips attached to the bumper near the exhaust outlet and take off the wheel arch liner to access the side bolts. Unscrew the two bolts located under the side lights and the two behind the side lights. Open the hatch and unscrew the screws along the upper edge of the bumper. Gently pull the lower part outwards and lift the upper part to detach it from the side supports and remove the bumper.
