Replacing Front Shock Absorbers

Model: Chevrolet Aveo MK 1, T200 - Years 2002-2011

Lift the vehicle on a hydraulic lift and remove the front wheel; proceed to detach the link connecting the shock absorber to the suspension wishbone, the pins securing the shock absorber to the hub support, free any cable ties, and unscrew the nut securing the rod to the shock absorber support at the body strut mount. Then, extract the shock absorber from its seat and use the appropriate clamps to compress the spring to remove the support from the rod; then fit the spring onto the new shock absorber, reassemble the support, and release the spring. Proceed in reverse for installation.
