Front Shock Absorber Replacement Instructions

Model: Chevrolet Aveo MK 1, T200 - Years 2002-2011

To replace the front shock absorber, you first need the appropriate tool (or clamps) to compress the spring. Start by lifting the vehicle on a ramp and removing the front wheel. Remove the link connecting the shock absorber to the anti-roll bar and the fixing bolts of the shock absorber to the hub support. Lower the vehicle and access the engine bay to remove the shock absorber support from the turret. Now, compress the spring to remove the support and fit it to the new shock absorber along with the spring and rubber gaiter, then proceed in reverse for installation.
