To replace the shock absorbers on a Chevrolet Beat, lift the car with a jack or a lift so that the wheel corresponding to the shock absorber being replaced is not in contact with the ground. Next, loosen the bolts that secure the wheel to the hub so that it can be completely removed. After removing the wheel, loosen the bolts that secure the shock absorber at the top and bottom to replace it with a new one. After the replacement, reinstall the wheel.
