Replacing the Rear Brake Shoes of the Chevrolet Colorado

Today, in this video tutorial, you will learn how to disassemble and replace the rear brake shoes of the Chevrolet Colorado. First, lift the vehicle and unscrew the bolts securing the rear wheel to remove it; then unscrew all the nuts of the drum, prying at the sides to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the brake shoes; to do this, detach the spring from the mechanism and pull the shoes off the pins. Now, clean the braking system and finally install the new rear brake shoes!
