Chevrolet Silverado - Video tutorial
Model: Chevrolet Silverado
MK 1
- Years 1998-2007 To recharge the air conditioning of the Chevrolet Silverado, we start by removing the bottom cap in the air conditioning system, take an air conditioning pressure gauge connected to its hose, a can of gas for air conditioning (in the video "134a refrigerant" brand "car is used air conditioner ") and we can screw the canister to the appropriate side in the pressure gauge. In the manometer there are white, green and red marks, where the green side indicates that it is ok, while the red side indicates that the gas is too pressurized and consequently not good; then keep the pressure gauge needle on green. Before starting to recharge the system, we start the car, let it warm up and activate the air conditioning to the maximum, leaving it running while we fill it; now we put the cap of the gauge to the end where we removed the cap, inserting the pressure cap and checking that it does not move. To get a correct reading, wait for the air conditioning compressor to run. As soon as the compressor starts, we shake the can, press the trigger on the pressure gauge and begin to rotate the can from vertical to horizontal position while filling. Periodically release the trigger to check the indicator and continue with the trigger pressed until we empty the jar. When we start to feel the empty jar we can turn it upside down so that all the remaining gas comes out. At this point we get into the car and hear if it is cold we can turn off the car, disconnect the pressure gauge by pulling the tab in the cap towards us and screw the cap previously removed from the system.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford EcosportFirst remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base. by ScegliAuto More videos
