How to Repair a Non-Functioning Spring Key on the Chevrolet Onix

As seen in the video, sometimes the internal spring that retracts the key into the black plastic housing may fail, leaving the key hanging. In these cases, use a flathead screwdriver to open the key holder where the central locking controls are located. In the video case, the spring was broken. With the help of tweezers and instant glue, repair the spring and insert it back into the key. Position the key and turn it three times to tension the spring. Then, close the plastic back over the key.
