How to Replace the License Plate Bulb on a Chevrolet Silverado?

To replace the license plate light bulb on a Chevrolet Silverado, access the inside of the bumper to disconnect the connector attached to the bulb. You can then remove the bulb from the outside of the bumper by taking it out of its housing.

Once the old bulb is removed, insert a new one from the outside of the bumper and connect it to the connector from the inside. After installation, check that the bulb works correctly and that the license plate is visible.
