The first thing to do when this light comes on is to change the engine oil and filter. After performing the DIY service, get in your vehicle and engage the parking brake, insert the key and turn on the ignition; the display will show the message "CHANGE OIL"; now press the button under the speedometer until the "OIL LIFE" message appears; then press and hold the button under the speedometer until the "RESET OIL LIFE" message appears. Turn off and then turn on the ignition to verify the reset.
