To reset the service light on a Chevrolet Cruze, start by turning on the ignition without starting the engine. Press the button at the far left of the left stalk (the one that controls the indicators), then press the "menu" button. Rotate the dial with the arrows upwards until the message "remaining oil life 0%" appears. Press the same button at the far left of the left stalk, then rotate the dial upwards to highlight "yes". Press the button at the far left of the left stalk to confirm. The message "remaining oil life 100%" will appear, indicating that the reset has been completed, and you can turn off the ignition.
