To replace the rear brake pads on the Chevrolet Captiva, you need to lift the car so that the corresponding wheel is not in contact with the ground. Next, loosen the bolts that secure the wheel, completely removing it to access the components at the rear. Now, you can loosen the bolts that secure the brake caliper, removing it from the disc and sliding out the pads inside. After the new pads have been inserted, refit the caliper and reinstall all previously removed components.
