Replacement of Cabin Air Filter

Model: Chevrolet Cruze - Years 2000-2010

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, behind the glove compartment. To access the filter, it is necessary to remove the glove compartment itself. Open the door and detach the side cable that acts as a damper during opening. Press on the sides of the glove compartment to retract the rubber stops and extract the compartment from its housing. At this point, you can reach the air duct and remove the cover of the cabin air filter housing by unscrewing the two side screws and disengaging the central tab. Then, extract the old filter, remove any dirt residue, and insert the new filter, ensuring the airflow direction is respected.
