Operation: How to replace the light switch on a Chevrolet Trailblazer.

To replace the light switch of a Chevrolet Trailblazer, we need a 7mm socket wrench. First, we unscrew the screw that holds the plastic at the bottom left of the steering wheel. Once the screw is removed, we lower the plastic and find two screws that hold the upper plastic on the left side of the dashboard. We unscrew them with a Phillips screwdriver. After removing the two screws, we move the plastic to make room for our hand, push the two tabs on the back of the switch to extract it, and move it aside, disconnecting the connectors. We take the new switch, connect the connectors, and position it in the same way as the old one, making sure to hook the tabs at the back. Once the switch is in place, we reposition the plastic on the left side of the dashboard and screw the two screws back in with a Phillips screwdriver. Finally, we take the plastic under the steering wheel, position it, and screw the screw back in with a 7mm socket wrench. We can then verify that the light switch is working correctly.
