In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the battery in the Chevrolet Malibu remote, a very simple and quick operation. For this, you will need a small flathead screwdriver and a replacement battery of type CR2032. First, extract the metal emergency key by pressing the designated button, then locate the indicated slot, insert the screwdriver into it, and pry apart the two halves.

Once the remote is open, remove the battery, insert the replacement in the correct orientation, and reassemble everything.
