Today, let's see how to replace the battery (CR2032) of the remote for a Chevrolet Malibu, produced from 2016 to 2023. First, press the release button for the physical emergency key to remove it, then use the removed key to pry open the rear cover of the remote as shown in the video.

Once the remote is open, move the internal keypad to access the old, exhausted battery and remove it. After that, insert a new battery and close the remote by reversing the procedure.
