If the key for your Chevrolet Equinox second generation (model year 2010-2017) suddenly stopped working and you want to replace the battery inside, follow these instructions. First, take the key and press the metal button located at the top, then remove the back cover with your hands and take out the old battery. Finally, replace it with a new 3-Volt CR2032 battery and correctly reassemble the back cover you removed earlier.
