If the instrument cluster in your Chevrolet Cruze suddenly stops working, first check the status of the relevant fuse, the location of which is indicated in this video. As shown, the fuse in question is located in the fuse box inside the cabin, specifically behind the small flap on the lower left side of the dashboard, on the driver's side.

It is labelled F21 and is the fifth fuse in the right column when looking at the box from the front. If faulty, ensure you use a replacement with equivalent specifications.
