Today we will explain how to reset the oil light on a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado. To reset the maintenance light on the car, we need to access the vehicle's instrument panel and press the menu button and scroll to select the oil change option, turn off the panel. Turn on the panel and wait 5 seconds before pressing the accelerator pedal 3 times in a row. Turn off and turn on the instrument panel a second time to complete the reset procedure for the light. If the light comes on a second time, you may need to go to the workshop.
