EGR Valve Replacement Instructions

Model: Chrysler 300c MK 1 - Years 2004-2011

To remove the EGR valve, it is recommended to lift the vehicle on a ramp and access the engine compartment from underneath as the valve is located at the bottom of the engine block; also, since the valve is traversed by exhaust gases, perform this maintenance with the engine cold. Once you locate the valve, unscrew the fastening bolts of the connecting hose to the exhaust manifold and those fastening the valve itself to the intake manifold; pull the valve away from its seat and disconnect the power connector by first extracting the safety tab. Proceed in reverse for the installation of the new valve (you may also opt for a refurbished one).
