Battery Replacement for Citroen C1 MK1

In this video we can see that if the battery of the Citroen C3 MK1 has been discharged, and does not hold subsequent attempts to recharge it, we must proceed with its replacement. We open the hood of the engine compartment, the battery is located on the driver's side, we start by removing the protective cover in two pieces, we remove the control unit on the left and place it aside. We loosen and remove the negative terminal clamp, disconnect the positive terminal clamp, press the release lever on the right and remove the battery using its handle. Clean the compartment and insert the new battery securing it with the lever, spread a layer of copper paste on the terminals, clean the inside of the clamps with sandpaper. Put the clamps back on the terminals starting from the positive one, put the control unit and the two-piece protection back in place.
