How to Change the Battery in a Citroen C4

Changing the battery is certainly a DIY maintenance task: the first step is selecting the new battery, which must be done by checking the position of the terminals and then the capacity expressed in Ah and the cranking power in A. If the battery compartment dimensions allow, you can also install a slightly more powerful battery. The battery is located in the engine compartment, next to the left front shock absorber dome (driver's side) and is covered by a plastic casing. Once the cover is removed, disconnect the terminals and unscrew the bolt of the fixing plate next to the battery. Then, extract the old battery and proceed in reverse for the installation of the new one.
