In this video, we can see how to check and adjust the play of the clutch pedal on Citroen C1, Toyota Aygo, and Peugeot 107. As we can see in the drawing, the play of the pedal, meaning when we start pressing the pedal and when we start feeling the resistance, should be between 13 and 28 mm, so between 1.5 cm and a maximum of 3 cm. The heaviness of the pedal should also be correct; a pedal that is too heavy is not good. To measure the travel, we follow the video: we take a meter and measure the height of the pedal, then with our hand press it until we start feeling the resistance: in this case it is 4 cm, so it is too much. We will therefore have to rotate the adjustment ring of the clutch cable until we reach the measurement indicated earlier.
