Let's see the main information that will allow us to disassemble and replace the timing belt of the Citroen Xsara Picasso 2.0 HDI. First, we open the hood of the car and start disassembling and removing the engine support located above the distribution cover; we lift the car and disconnect the V-belt, loosening the tensioner, as shown in the video. At this point, we remove the crankshaft pulley and unscrew the bolts of the distribution cover; we take the necessary references for the replacement of the belt, also replacing the water pump kit if necessary.
