How to reset the onboard computer of a Citroen C3.

Let's see how to reset the onboard computer on the Citroen C3 III: there are two distinct resets; the trip (single journey) and the average onboard computer (fuel consumption, averages). In the first case, we reset the partial odometer by turning on the instrument panel and looking for the button at the end of the wiper lever on the right side of the steering wheel. We press it repeatedly until we see the "trip" screen with the partial mileage on the display. We hold the button down for about 2 seconds, and we will see the value reset to 0.0.

To reset the averages of the onboard computer, with the instrument panel still on, we navigate to the screen that shows the average data we want to reset (average 1/average 2), which consists of average consumption expressed in l/100 km or km/l; average speed; travel time. Once we have identified the data to reset, we hold the button on the lever for 2 seconds. Remember that this only resets the average that we are currently viewing.

To reset the maintenance reminder, we hold down the reset button located on the dashboard with the dial off; without releasing it, we turn on the ignition: after a few seconds, a countdown will appear that will show us the kilometers remaining until the next service.
