Where is the diesel fuel filter located on the Citroen C3 III?

Let's see how to find and replace the diesel fuel filter on a Citroen C3 III diesel. As we can see in the video, it is not located in the engine compartment, but underneath the car, near the fuel tank. We need to lift the vehicle and secure it on jack stands. Remove the cover under the floor pan, and once removed, we will find the fuel tank, and nearby a cylinder (made of metal or plastic) with fuel lines and a water sensor, which is the housing for the filter. When we remove the cartridge, dirty diesel fuel will spill out; therefore, it is necessary to have a container ready to collect it and prevent it from being released into the environment. Clean the housing, replace the gasket and the cartridge. After that, do not start the engine right away. If the vehicle has a priming pump, activate it until the system fills up; otherwise, just start the starter motor for 10 to 15 seconds, pause, and repeat this 3 to 4 times until the engine starts regularly.
