How to Remove the Timing Belt from a Citroen C3

Let’s see how to remove the timing belt from a Citroen C3. Lift the front bonnet of the engine compartment; remove the timing belt cover. Use a fixed spanner to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its housing, unscrew the securing bolt of the tensioner pulley, and remove the water pump. Fit the new water pump. After fitting the new belt, use a fixed spanner to tension the tensioner pulley until the belt has the correct tension (as previously fitted). Finally, check the tensioner and the belt itself, and tighten everything with the socket spanner.
