How to Replace the EGR Valve on a Citroen C3 1

In this video, we will see how to change the EGR valve on the Citroen C3. Open the bonnet and remove the cover from the engine block, disconnect the air flow meter hose, and remove the air box by first taking off the air supply hose and the securing screws, which should not be completely removed as they are designed to stay in their places. Remove the air pressure sensor; detach the sensor from the priming pump; open the oil filler cap, which prevents you from removing the air box, which you can now take out; close the oil filler cap, disconnect the electrical wiring from the diesel filter connector, and remove the supply and return hoses; unscrew the screws holding the diesel filter in place and remove it, placing it in a container for fluid recovery. Remove the air hose and finally see the EGR valve, which you can take out with a pair of pliers after unscrewing it: remove any carbon deposits blocking the components around the EGR valve. The new valve can be found, for example, on eBay with code 354288992179 for £50.53, with free delivery. Refit it in place and then replace the air duct, then also replace the diesel filter, reconnecting the supply and return hoses, as well as all the electrical connectors. Refit all components that you have removed, starting with the air filter and then putting everything back in place.
