How to Change the Key Fob Battery of a Citroen C5

To replace the battery of the key fob for a Citroen C5, take the fob and locate the slot along the edge of the casing. Insert a small flat screwdriver into the slot and gently pry apart the two halves of the shell. Once opened, remove the flat battery and insert a new one of the same type, ensuring correct polarity. Close the fob by pressing the two halves together until they click. Press a button to check that the fob works correctly and that all locking and unlocking functions are operational.
