Replacing the Battery on Citroen C5

Model: Citroen C5 MK 2, RD, X7 - Years 2008-2017

Open the bonnet and prop it up with the support rod. First, disconnect the negative terminal, which is on your right (facing the cabin), and then disconnect the positive terminal by lifting the clip (secure the cable with insulating tape for safety). Release the plastic fastener located at the bottom of the battery by working on the clips with a small flat-head screwdriver. Once this is done, the battery is free and can be removed: grip it by the handles and pull upwards. To install the new battery, simply reverse the process. Check that the car starts correctly.
