Replacing the Remote Key Battery on Citroen C5

To replace the battery in the key/remote of the Citroen C5, first, use a small screwdriver to open the plastic shell, which consists of two halves. To do this, rotate the actual metal key around its pivot to extract it from its housing. Now, insert the screwdriver into the gap that separates the two halves of the shell and pry until they separate. Once done, locate the battery compartment and remove the old battery to replace it with the new one. Reassemble all components and close the key. That's it!
