How to Replace Gear Knob on Peugeot and Citroen Vehicles

To replace the gear knob, first detach the plastic base securing the leather gaiter (gently pull upwards); once released, slightly rotate the knob to aid extraction while pulling it firmly upwards. Turn the gaiter inside out to remove the retaining clip from the knob, and once the knob is replaced, reinsert the plastic clip, turn the leather gaiter back to its outer side, and proceed to insert the knob onto the gear lever, applying firm pressure and rotation to secure it in its original position. This procedure is applicable for Peugeot and Citroen vehicles.
