How to remove the fan resistor on a Citroen Xsara. This guide shows you how to carry out the disassembly. Remove the plastic panel under the dashboard using a lever (remove the securing screws of the cover), then unscrew the cover where the resistor is located with a screwdriver. Disconnect the large connector of the resistor, then remove it from the cabin. Insert a new fan resistor (connect the power connector). Finally, reassemble the resistor cover and tighten the screws. Check the correct assembly of the previously installed parts and test their proper functioning.
