The Coil Spring Breaks and Destroys a Tyre on a Citroen C4

The issue described in the video is a dangerous yet rare failure that must be known: the breakage of a coil spring on a Citroen C4 Cactus has punctured the tyre. Upon leaving the driveway, a bang is heard, and a piece of metal is found on the ground; the front suspension spring has broken, and a fragment was flung against the tyre, irreparably puncturing it; moreover, the wheel could not be removed until the entire suspension arm was disassembled. It was necessary to remove the upper bolt, the lower arm hub nut, the stabiliser bar connection, and extract the spring/damper unit. Then, it was necessary to replace the coil spring, the upper support bearing, new wishbones, and stabiliser bar links on both sides, along with new tyres on both sides.
