How to Replace the Key Fob Battery in a Citroen C5 Aircross

To replace the key fob battery in a Citroen C5 Aircross, locate the small cover on the back of the electronic key that allows access to the battery. Insert a small flat screwdriver into the corresponding slot and gently pry to release the cover. Remove the depleted battery from its housing, taking care of its position and polarity. Insert a new battery of the same type, generally a CR2032 3 V, with the positive pole oriented correctly. Reposition the cover and press along the edges until it clicks back into place. Finally, test the open and close buttons to verify the remote's functionality.
