In this tutorial, see how to replace the gear knob on a Citroen C4. This operation is very simple and quick. First, separate the base of the gaiter from the centre tunnel using a plastic spatula to avoid leaving marks. Then, lift the gaiter and cut the internal plastic tie. Next, pull the knob upwards with force to separate it from the shaft. If it seems stuck, you can try to remove it by cutting it with a utility knife. Once done, you can insert the replacement, secure it to the gaiter with a new tie, and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
