Replacing the Clutch Cable in the Citroen Xsara Picasso

Model: Citroen Xsara Picasso MK 1 - Years 1999-2012

First, position the Citroen Xsara Picasso on a level surface or a ramp. This is a precaution to take every time you perform maintenance on your vehicle. Now, open the front bonnet and locate where the clutch cable is situated in the engine bay. In this case, it is located on the right, at the bottom of the engine block. Remove the clutch pedal from inside the cabin, and once done, disconnect the cable attached to it. In the engine bay, remove the battery and its housing, allowing you to pull the clutch cable from its sheath. At this point, replace the old cable with the new one, working in reverse order of the steps taken.
