Replacing the Key Fob Case on Peugeot and Citroen Cars

Using a small flathead screwdriver, pry along the central joint line to open the case in two halves. If the battery is still good, remove the CR1620 battery inside and reuse it for the next key. The circuit board will come out easily; you can remove it with your hands. Similarly, open the new case you purchased and insert the battery and circuit board you previously removed. Ensure the new manual key is the same as the old one and reassemble everything. This simple method works for both Peugeot and Citroen cars with the same key.
