How to Replace the Glow Plugs on a Citroen C5

Before you can start, open the bonnet of your Citroen C5. Begin by removing the exhaust manifold by unscrewing and removing the relevant fixing bolts, then unclip and remove the manifold itself. Next, disconnect the hoses connected to the glow plugs, then disconnect the positive electrical connector. This will give you access to the glow plugs. Proceed to unscrew and remove the glow plugs, and the disassembly will be complete. To fit the new glow plugs, simply follow these instructions in reverse, and the replacement will be completed.
