Want to know how to remove the oil filter on a Citroen C5? Lift the front bonnet and locate the engine oil filter. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it in place. Remove the air intake pipe to access the filter housing. Unscrew the large securing bolt of the housing cap where the oil filter is located, and extract the filter from its housing. Fit the new oil filter after cleaning the entire base where the part screws in.
