Oil and Engine Filter Replacement

Model: Citroen C4 Picasso MK 1 - Years 2006-2013

If possible, position the vehicle on suitable car ramps to facilitate access to the oil sump. Then, remove the plastic cover located beneath the engine bay and locate the oil sump drain plug; place a container for collecting the used oil and unscrew the drain plug; re-screw it once the draining is complete, replacing the sealing washer if necessary. Next, locate the oil filter cartridge: it is positioned laterally, just above the gearbox. Replace the filter cartridge and the sealing rings that are always included in the kit, and fill the engine with new oil according to the SAE specifications and the quantities indicated in the user and maintenance manual.
