Preparation and Reassembly of the Head Gasket and Cylinder Head

Model: Citroen C4 MK 1 - Years 2004-2010

Before proceeding with the reassembly of the cylinder head, check with a feeler gauge and a bar that the two surfaces (the head and the block where the pistons are) are perfectly flat. Screw in the two plates to secure the cylinders. Then, use a tap to clean the screw holes and blow out any debris with compressed air. Insert the bushes, rotate the crankshaft to align the cylinders, and remove the plates. Position the gasket and then the cylinder head. Apply thread sealant to each screw and tighten them according to the manufacturer's specifications. Car model: Citroen C4 16V
