Replacing Cylinder Head Fixing Bolts

Model: Citroen Zx MK 1 - Years 1991-1998

Before applying the new set of bolts, check the thread pitch with the appropriate thread gauge and select the tap to re-thread all holes, taking care not to let any debris fall into the cylinders. Once this operation is complete, apply sealing paste to the tip of the threads and under the heads of the bolts; once the new gasket and cylinder head are in position, tighten the bolts using a torque wrench first and then a degree wrench, following a cross pattern to ensure perfect and uniform adherence of the gasket to the block.

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
