Replacement of Camshaft Oil Seal

Model: Citroen Saxo MK 1 - Years 1996-2004

Before inserting the new oil seals into the respective seats of the camshafts, ensure there are no dirt residues, lubricate both the seat and the oil seal, and press them in until fully seated with a pad. At this point, install the timing pulleys and tighten the central retaining bolt; align the timing marks, lock the pulleys of both the camshafts and the crankshaft with the appropriate pins, and install the timing belt. After installing the belt, rotate the crankshaft twice and check the alignment of the timing marks again.
