Fitting Lifters, Camshafts and Timing Belt

Model: Citroen Saxo MK 1 - Years 1996-2004

First, coat the valve seats and lifters with a bit of oil and place them one by one in their seats. Lubricate with appropriate oil and insert the camshafts, always lubricating the support points. Apply a bead of gasket paste around the edge and position the upper cover. Tighten the screws in the correct sequence and to the appropriate torque. Now insert the rubber rings where the camshafts exit the engine cover and then fit the two toothed pulleys. By locking the two toothed pulleys with the appropriate pins, you can also refit the timing belt. Car model: Citroen Saxo.
