Replacing the Cylinder Head Gasket

If you experience overheating issues in the engine cooling system and find traces of oil inside the radiator, the cylinder head gasket has likely failed. To replace it, first drain the cooling system and then remove the radiator, exhaust manifold, and intake manifold along with the injection system. Disconnect the auxiliary belt, align the timing belt references, and remove it to free the camshaft pulley. Take off the rocker cover and then the fixing bolts of the cylinder head. Clean the cylinder block, have the cylinder head checked by a specialist workshop, apply the new gasket, and reassemble in reverse order, paying attention to the tightening sequence of the head bolts. Finally, refill the cooling system with the appropriate fluid, start the engine, allow it to reach operating temperature, and ensure it remains stable.
