Replacement of Exhaust Manifold Gasket

Model: Citroen C5 DC, MK 1 - Years 2000-2008

Before applying the new gasket, thoroughly clean the seating on both the cylinder head and manifold sides, removing any dirt and deposits to ensure perfect adherence and sealing of the gasket; this gasket is made of metallic material as it must withstand high temperatures and the acidity of exhaust gases. Once cleaned, position the gasket aligning it with the dowel pins (avoiding deformation) and place the manifold, tightening the respective fixing bolts with a torque wrench.
